Trophy Rainbow Trout – Late-Summer Giants!
The Kenai River is home to some of the biggest wild rainbow trout in the world, and August is the best time to catch them. With an abundance of food in the river, these trophy trout grow massive, offering incredible catch-and-release action.

Sockeye Salmon (Reds) – The Final Runs!
While the peak sockeye runs happen in June and July, late-season sockeye are still available in early August. These fresh, strong fish provide an exciting challenge and are some of the best-tasting salmon you can catch.

Arctic Char & Dolly Varden – Bonus Catches!
For those looking for variety, Arctic char and Dolly Varden add an extra layer of fun to your fishing adventure. These beautiful fish are strong fighters and provide an amazing fly-fishing experience.
